NEW YORK, NY – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team fell in three sets to former UVC opponent New York University in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon.

Score: NYU 3, Penn State Behrend 0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-17)
Records:  Penn State Behrend (11-5), NYU (10-4)

Key Moments:

* The NYU Bobcats hit .376 and had double-digit kills in each set to defeat the Lions
* The Lions registered 11 kills and hit .304 in the first set, yet falling 25-15
* Down by nine in the second set, Behrend made a 4-0 late spurt to make it 24-19
* Jack Candido tallied a kill for the final point to give the Bobcats a 2-0 lead
* NYU used a 7-0 run to start the third and carried that momentum through the set for a 25-17 win
* Dylan Buzalka (Carlisle, PA/Cumberland Valley) led with seven kills and Kyle Hoffman (Carlton, PA/Cochranton) added six kills for a .385 hitting percentage
* Adrian Martinez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Wesleyan Academy) posted 10 digs, while Alex Jackson (Cochranton, PA/Cochranton) handed out 24 assists
