HIRAM, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team defeated Hiram 3-2 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday afternoon.

Records:  Penn State Behrend (14-6, 10-1 AMCC), Hiram (7-12, 5-4 AMCC)

 Key Moments:

* The Lions tallied season highs in kills (64) and digs (76) in the five-set win
* Behrend won the middle two sets and the final, each closely contested
* Hiram grabbed a two-point win in the first and the Lions answered with back-to-back wins
* The Terriers won in extra points in set four to force a set five
* Three Behrend players had double-digit digs led by Adrian Martinez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Wesleyan Academy) with 19
* Martinez is 42 digs away from breaking the school record for career digs
* Owen Wienczkowski (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) had a career-high 18 kills on 33 attempts with two errors
* Wienczkowski added four blocks and five digs
* Cameron Schleicher (Meadville, PA/Meadville) added a season-best 14 digs and six kills along with two aces and two blocks
* Setter Alex Jackson (Cochranton, PA/Cochranton) got 38 assists off 64 kills
