Men's Volleyball Falls to Hiram

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team fell 3-1 to the Hiram Terriers in non-conference action on Tuesday night in the Junker Center.

* Behrend took the early lead in the first set, forcing 16 Hiram errors for a 25-19 win
* Daniel Easly (Erie, PA/McDowell) tallied five kills and hit. 625 in the first set
* The Terriers held the Lions to 14 points and registered 14 team kills in the second set to even the match at 1-all
* In the third, Behrend got back-to-back kills from Cameron Schleicher (Meadville, PA/Meadville) for a 22-21 lead
* Hiram won four consecutive points to win the third set for a 2-1 edge in the match
* The Terriers took advantage of three service errors down the stretch in the fourth for a five-point win
* Easly led with nine kills and four block assists
