Geneva Takes Men's Volleyball in Five

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team fell 3-2 to Geneva in non-conference action on Wednesday night.

Score:  Geneva 3, Penn State Behrend 2 (21-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 15-12)

Key Moments:

* It marks the fourth five-set loss in the last five matches for the Lions
* Behrend defeated the Golden Tornadoes 3-1 earlier this season
* Geneva had three players with double-digit kills, helping the Golden Tornadoes hold a 65-45 edge in kills
* In the first set, the Lions tallied 14 kills on 33 attempts with two errors for a .364 attack percentage for a 25-21 victory
* Geneva came back to tie it in the second, before Behrend regained the lead with an identical score from the first set

* Luke Mumpower (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) had a match-high 18 digs and Lewis Rhodes (Reston, VA/South Lakes) had one solo and five block assists
