* The Lions open AMCC play against the Mounties in the first match
* Behrend is 2-8 overall and is coming off a 3-2 loss at Geneva on Wednesday night

* Mt. Aloysius was picked to finish fifth in the AMCC Coaches' Preseason Poll
* Andrew Wlodarczyk leads the team and ranks fourth in kills per set (2.83) and is fifth in total kills (82) in the conference
* Evan Schmidt is dishing out 8.48 assists per set to rank second in the AMCC
* Head coach Jillian Glover enters her first season with the Mounties

* The Thunder are 8-4 overall and are coming off a 2-0 weekend at Grove City
* Trine defeated Eastern 3-0 on Friday and then swept Carlow 3-0, before cancelling the match against the Wolverines due to weather
* Kevin Boncaro was named the MCVL Offensive Player of the Week for registering 45 kills, 19 digs and hitting .361 in three wins for the Thunder
* In the win over Bethel, Boncaro solidified his spot as Trine's all-time kills leader with his 1,000th career kill
* Boncaro leads the team with 173 kills over 12 matches
* The Thunder was picked to finish fourth in the MCVL Preseason Coaches' Poll
* Trine is the defending MCVL Champions, defeating Wittenberg 3-1 in the championship match
