Hiram Handles Behrend Men's Volleyball

HIRAM, Ohio – The Hiram Terriers men's volleyball team tallied a 25-20, 25-19 and 25-18 win over Penn State Behrend in non-conference action on Thursday night.

Key Moments:

* Hiram had a .342 attack percentage along with two players with double-digit kills for their 12^th win of the season
* The Terriers held a 41-31 advantage in kills over three sets and forced 10 block errors by the Lions
* Daniel Easly (Erie, PA/McDowell) led Behrend with nine kills on 24 attempts with three errors
* Setter Luke Mumpower (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) handed out 25 assists, while recording four digs, four block assists and two assists
* Kyle Hoffman (Carlton, PA/Cochranton) and Lewis Rhodes (Reston, VA/South Lakes) each added six kills

* Behrend tallied one more point before the Terriers closed out the set, 25-20
* The Lions grabbed a 13-12 lead in the second set, but Hiram used a 10-0 run to take the lead for good to win 25-19
* The Terriers broke open a two-point set to make it a seven-point advantage at 21-14
* Hiram got a kill from Jarod Leynes to win the match at 25-18 in the third
