ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Penn State Altoona in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday.
Score: Penn State Altoona 3, Penn State Behrend 0 (26-24, 25-23, 25-22)
Records: Penn State Behrend (7-14, 1-1 AMCC), Penn State Altoona (11-10, 1-0 AMCC)
Key Moments:
* Each set was decided by three or less points
* In the first set, Altoona had match point on four occasions that was spoiled by the Lions getting the next four points to tie it at 24-all
* Altoona got a kill and a service ace from Caleb Fries to win the first set in extra points, 26-24
* The second set was as close as the first
* With match point for Altoona, Daniel Easly (Erie, PA/McDowell) got a kill to stay in the set
* Fries helped the Altoona Lions win the set with the final kill at 25-23
