ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Aaron Figurski (Erie, PA/McDowell) and Victor Nguyen (San Jose, CA/Evergreen Valley) scored two goals apiece but the Penn State Behrend men's water polo team was unable to overcome a slow start in a 15-7 defeat to Salem on Sunday afternoon at the Southern Division Championship.

The Tigers started quickly, taking an 8-3 lead into the break.

Behrend goalkeeper Ty Elder (Brentwood, CA/Heritage) deflected a barrage of shots throughout the contest. He also turned away a Salem penalty shot in the third quarter.

Logan McCarthy (San Diego, CA/La Jolla), Justin Vink (Los Angeles, CA/Granada Hills Charter), and Remi Lee (Berkeley, CA/ Berkeley) also poured in goals for the Lions.
