Men's Water Polo Falls in Three Matches

NEW LONDON, Ct – The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team dropped three games Saturday against Connecticut College, Iona, and MIT.

In game one of the triple-header, the Lions (0-9) fell to Connecticut College by a score of 22-10. Leading the way for Behrend was Isaak Hatopp (Saline, MI / Saline) and Andre Sardaryzadeh (Murrieta, CA/Elsinore). Hatopp drew four ejections for Behrend, collected five steals, and added two goals to the Lions' effort. Sardaryzadeh paced the scoring with four goals and an assist while adding two drawn ejections.

Cameron Makin (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) also contributed with three goals and four assists while drawing two ejections.

Behrend struggled to find the offense in game two, dropping the match to Iona 19-4. Sardaryzadeh, Hatopp, Makin, and Valkusky each scored a goal in the match.

The Lions finished the night agaisnt MIT, falling by a score of 14-6. Sardaryzadeh and Makin paced the offense for behrend adding three goals and two goals, respectively. 

The Lions will be back in action tomorrow when they take on Cal Lutheran at 9:00 a.m.
