WESTWOOD, Ca - The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team concluded their season with a 17-4 loss to California Saturday evening at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships.

Andre Sardaryzadeh (Murrieta, CA/Elsinore) led the Lions (0-26) with two goals on eight shots. Greg Levitt (Bayonne, France/Suncoast) and Ben Katsarsky (Syracuse, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt) each added a goal.

Four different Bears (19-4) tallied goals in the first quarter to jump out to an early 4-1 lead over Behrend. They then added six more in the second quarter to add a nine-goal advantage into the break.

Cal kept the pressure through the second half of action, adding five goals in the third compared to the Lions' two. Katsarsky scored his goal in the final possession of the game. 

Kyle Frerichs (Sellersville, PA/Pennridge) added three steals and Troy Valkusky (Drifton, PA/Hazleton) won three of the four sprints.
