Olimski Named All-MPSF Honorable Mention

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's water polo junior goalkeeper Matt Olimski (San Diego, CA/Otay Ranch) picked up All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Honorable Mention honors for his second consecutive year on Wednesday as the league announced its annual accolades.

Olimski has played in 18 games for the Behrend Lions this season and has been the team's primary goalkeeper. Olimski has made 238 saves and also has 35 steals. He leads the MPSF in steals, saves, steals-per-game and saves-per-game

Olimski helped Penn State Behrend to a third-place finish earlier this season at the CWPA Division III Eastern Championships, earning All-Tournament Second Teams honors after posting 34 saves during the weekend while pulling in four steals and scoring two goals and one assist.

Penn State Behrend will take on Austin College tomorrow at Noon (9 a.m. PST) in the opening game of the MPSF Championships in Berkley, California.
