ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team hosted their home invitational on Saturday. The Lions fell to Washington & Jefferson and Salem on day one.

* In the first match of the day, the Presidents tallied their third win over the Lions this season
* W&J scored three goals over the first three quarters and then had a game-high five in the final quarter for the victory
* The Presidents held Behrend to just one goal in the first, third and fourth quarters
* The Lions tied W&J with three goals in the second quarter
* Chase Cordon (Canyon Lake, CA/Temescal Canyon) led the attack with two goals
* In the second game of the day, Salem jumped out to a 16-3 lead and held off the determined Behrend Lions for the win
* The Lions tallied a seaon-high 18 goals in the loss
* Jack Holl (Greenwich, CT/Greenwich) led with four goals, while Ryan Kenney (Skippack, PA/Perkiomen Valley) added three goals
* Behrend outscored Salem 15-6 over the final two quarters to make it a four-goal game
