Behrend Water Polo Lands Four on All-MPSF East Team

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team had four players named to the All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) East/Delfina Team, announced on Wednesday.

Sophomore Jack Holl (Greenwich, CT/Greenwich) was selected to the first team, while junior Chase Cordon (Canyon Lake, CA/Temescal Canyon), junior Ryan Kenney (Skippack, PA/Perkiomen) and freshman Ethan Friedman (Valley Center, CA/Valley Center) were named to the second team. All four are earning the honor for the first time.

Holl led the team in goals with 48 and drawn kickouts with 39. The driver has 11 multiple-goal games this season, including six goals on two occasions. Holl also has 30 steals, making a season-best six against Connecticut College.

Cordon is tied for second on the team with 21 goals. He also has 16 steals, nine assists and six drawn kickouts. He tallied a season-best three goals on four shots with one assist against Gannon. Kenney has played in all 21 games this season, scoring 21 goals to tie Cordon. He is also second on the team with 20 assists while adding eight drawn kickouts and seven steals

Friedman has played in 43.5 games this season in goal, making a team-best 133 saves and posting 24 steals. He has double-digit saves in four games. Friedman was named the MPSF East Newcomer of the Week earlier this season. He posted a season-best 16 saves against Connecticut College.
