ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's water polo sophomore Ethan Friedman (Valley Center, CA/Valley Center) has been named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) East/Delfina Player of the Week.

Friedman tallied 35 saves this weekend, along with five steals and two assists at the Connecticut College Invite.

In an 11-9 win over the host Connecticut College, the second year goalie made 17 saves to help the Lions claim their third victory of the season.

Friedman's 17 saves was just one shy of the 2023 MPSF season-high.

Behrend travels to Morgantown, W.Va. to participate in the Salem Invite beginning on Saturday, Sep. 23.
