Lions Drop Final Two Games in Morgantown

Morgantown, W.Va. – The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team fell to Salem and Mount St. Mary's on the final day of the Salem Invitational.
Match One
Score: Salem 21, Penn State Behrend 4
Records: Salem (9-1), Penn State Behrend (3-7)
Key Moments:
* Ryan Kenney (Skippack, PA/Perkiomen Valley) tallied a team-high two points, scoring one goal and adding an assist
* Other Lions to put one in the back of the net were Eli Anderson (Encinitas, CA/San Dieguito) and Eugene Kruger (Pleasanton, CA/Foothill)
* Sophomore Will Aikens (LaGrange Park, IL/Lyons Township) dished out an assist on the score from Kruger
* Goalie Ethan Friedman (Valley Center, CA/Valley Center) played full time in net for Behrend and made eight saves

Records: Mount St. Mary's (4-7), Penn State Behrend (3-8)
Key Moments:
* Junior Ryan Carpico (Skippack, PA/Perkiomen) led the way for the Lions with three goals on six shots
* Jack Holl (Greenwich, CT/Greenwich) and Eli Anderson registered a goal apiece in the final game Sunday afternoon
* In net, Ethan Friedman once again played full time and finished with six saves
* Behrend outscored the Mount 3-1 in the final period of play
