Bowman Nabs MPSF East Newcomer of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's water polo freshman Atticus Bowman (Albuquerque, NM/Volcano Vista) was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) East Newcomer of the Week.

Bowman recorded 21 assists and eight steals in four games this past weekend at Washington & Jefferson.

He led the Lions with 13 assists in Behrend's win against Wheaton (MA) and dished out a game-high five assists in a 13-10 victory over the host W&J.

Currently, Bowman leads the MPSF with 41 helpers so far this season.

This is the second time this season that a Behrend men's water polo was selected as Newcomer of the Week.

The Lions are back in action the weekend of October 26-27 at the Erie Prep Center for the Gannon Invitational.
