Penn State Behrend's Jenna Fatica (Erie/Villa Maria) has been named as the AMCC cross country runner of the week for October 6, 2008.

Last weeks ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR athlete of the week took the AMCC runner of the week honors as she completed the 6K course in a personal best time of 24:39 at the Bobcat Invitational.  Her time was good enough for a third place overall finish and a team championship.  This is the second time that Fatica has been named as the AMCC runner of the week.  She was the runner of the week for September 2nd.

Fatica has led the Behrend Lions all season as the top finisher in each race.  Fatica's times are getting better as each race goes on.  Fatica has finished in the top ten in each of the four races this year.

The women's cross country team will be back in action on October 18th when they take part in the Oberlin Inter Regional Rumble.  They will defend their conference championship on November 1st at Penn State Altoona.
