ERIE, Pa -- The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team tallied three top five finishers and placed second overall in the Buffalo St. Invitational on Friday afternoon.

Denis Lydon (Plum, PA/ Plum) finished second overall with a time of 26:16 in the 8K race. Jake DeWeese (Freedom, PA/ Freedom Area) and Matt McWilliams (Waterford, PA/ Fort LeBoeuf) placed fourth and fifth with times of 26:30 and 26:32, respectively.

Matt Smolinski (Wexford, PA/Wexford) and Devin Beggs (Franklin, PA/ Franklin) ran identical times of 27:04, placing 13^th and 15^th. Tyler Rigby (South Park, PA/ South Park High School) finished 20^th with a time of 27:16, and Tyler Yost (Waterford, PA/ Fort LeBoeuf) rounded out the top seven, running a time of 27:51.

Behrend will next compete at the Fredonia Invitational, September 7^th at 11 a.m.
