ERIE, Pa -- Denis Lydon (Plum, PA/Plum) and Jake DeWeese (Freedom, PA/Freedom Area) finished back to back -- 8^th and 9^{th --} to lead the Penn State Behrend men's cross country team at Saturday's Behrend Invitational.

Lake Erie College placed the top three runners with Nicholas Hall (25:34.7), Connor Gordon (25:40.0), and Dalton Graham (25:44.3) taking the top spots.

But it was Fredonia State winning the team competition, with a score of 39. Lake Erie College came in second (45), and Behrend finished third with a score of 68.

The Lions sported four top twelve finishers in all. Along with Lydon (26:23.5) and DeWeese (26:32.0), Matt McWilliams (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) finished 11^th with a time of 26:35.6, and Tyler Rigby (South Park, PA/South Park) came in 12^th, netting a time of 26:36.8.

Behrend will next run at Lehigh University on October 5^th, at 11 a.m.
