Lions Take Fifth at Carnegie Mellon
The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team finished fifth out of 13 teams Saturday afternoon at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. The Lions finished with a team score of 156.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team finished fifth out of 13 teams Saturday afternoon at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. The Lions finished with a team score of 156.
Freshman Dylan Buffington (Brookville, PA/Brookville) led the Lions with an 18th place finish running a time of 26:28.6. Behrend also got a 27th place finish from Devin Beggs (Franklin, PA/Franklin) who ran a 27:00.1.
Following Beggs was Alan Yocca (Plum, PA/Plum) who ran a 27:29.8, good for 34th place. Jacob Parsons (Titusville, PA/Maplewood finished just behind Yocca in 37th place with a time of 27:41.6. Coming in at 40th place was Josh Natalie, who finished the day running a 27:46.3.
The Lions will run again next Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Oberlin Invitational.
