Lions Set to Compete at Harry F. Anderson Invite

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team will travel to Roberts Wesleyan to compete in the Harry F. Anderson Invitational on Saturday. The invite begins at 10 a.m.

* The Lions most recently hosted the Behrend Twilight Invite on Friday
* Behrend took home first place at the event out of 13 teams with a score of 31
* Junior Zach Wortman (St. Mary's, PA/Elk County Catholic) led the team with a second place overall finish and a time of 27:53.6 for the 8K race
* Wortman was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Runner of the Week for his efforts
* Behrend had four more Top 10 finishers with Jacob Carnovale (St. Mary's PA/Elk County Catholic) in fourth (28:21.7), Chris Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) in sixth (28:37.5), Jake Lehotsky (Erie, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) in ninth (28:46.6) and Aidan Domencic (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) in 10th (28:47.7)
