NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team placed second out of eight teams to open the 2023 season at the Westminster Invitational.

* Junior Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) led the way for the Lions, earning a ninth-place finish with a time of 16:23.20 with an average-mile time of 5.16
* Bennett Kerr (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) was the next Behrend runner to cross the finish line, notching 12th place (16:40.48)
