Behrend Runners Compete At Dickinson Invitational

CARLISLE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team finished with a combined team score of 403 to place seventh at the Dickinson College Long-Short Meet Saturday afternoon.

* Freshman Lucas Boyd (North East, PA/North East) was the top finisher for the Lions, crossing the finish line in 63^rd place with a time of 27:31.6
* Bennett Kerr (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) finished three spots behind Boyd at 66^th, registering a time of 27:35.1

* The next Lions to cross the finish was freshman Nicolin Pierce (Erie, PA/McDowell), who recorded a time of 13:13.7 for a 57^th place finish
* Both these times surpassed Michael Smolinski's time of 13:39.1 set in 2012, which was previously the fastest Behrend time on this course
