Kessi Osborne Named Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week

Kessi Osborne (Ellwood City/Riverside) has been named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week for the week of April 5, 2010.

Osborne had a very impressive week for the Behrend Lions in which they went 2-2 as a team.  In a sweep over the Thiel Tomcats, the freshman went 2 for 2 in the game one win and 1 for 2 with a vital RBI in the first inning of a contest where runs where at a minimum and every run scored was key.  The blue and white were defeated twice by the Pitt-Bradford Panthers, but Osborne kept her hitting streak alive as she went 1 for 3 in the first game and 1 for 4 in the second.  Osborne is currently hitting .368 on the young season.  

The Behrend Lions will travel to Westminster on Tuesday, April 6 to take on the Titans in a non-conference matchup.  The blue and white will then host a non-conference showdown against Hiram on Thursday, April 8 and travel to Pitt-Greensburg in an AMCC matchup on Saturday, April 10.
