Softball Team Visits Milestones Early Learning Center

On two occasions last week, the Penn State Behrend softball team volunteered their time at the Milestones Early Learning Center located on Buffalo Road. The team interacted with the kids and assisted with any other needs of the learning center.

ERIE, Pa. – On two occasions last week, the Penn State Behrend softball team volunteered their time at the Milestones Early Learning Center located on Buffalo Road.  The team interacted with the kids and assisted with any other needs of the learning center.

“It was a good experience for our players to get out and work with younger children”, said head coach Stacy Pondo. “It is a way for our program to give back to the community.”

The softball team plans to continue service projects and also offers clinics throughout the year for the community.
