Herzog Named AMCC Player of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Freshman Stacey Herzog (Smethport, PA/Smethport) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Softball Player of the Week.

The catcher hit .545 on a 4-2 week for the Lions. She had seven RBIs on 12 hits, including four extra-base hits and her first collegiate home run in the win over Medaille. In six games she did not strike out once and defensively she caught two stealing and picked one off at catcher.

Herzog is currently on a seven-game hitting streak and leads the team in hits (38), RBIs (25), doubles (10) and triples (3).
