ERIE, Pa. – Sophomore Sarah Blagg (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) has been named to the 2016 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-East Region Third Team.

Blagg was the only Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) player to earn the honors and one of 364 players chosen to represent one of the eight NCAA regions. She was selected for an at-large position after leading the team at third base and catcher. Blagg paced the squad with a .395 batting average for the season, along with hits (49), runs (37), RBI (32), home runs (3) and slugging percentage (.629). She was second in doubles with 12 and was 5-for-5 in stolen bases.

Blagg recently was named to the All-AMCC first team. She had 14 multiple hit games, including an 11-game hit streak was the only Behrend player to post five hits and five RBIs in one game this season.
