ERIE, Pa. - Senior outfielder Allania Banta (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week for helping the Penn State Behrend softball team record six wins last week. 

For the second straight week, Banta led the team in batting average hitting .522 is six games. She tallied 12 hits, 11 runs, nine RBIs, three home runs, two stolen bases and a double to help Behrend go undefeated this week. Banta had a home run in three of the six games, while going 3-for-5 with four RBIs in game two against Hilbert. 

She leads the conference in home runs (4) and is fourth in batting average (.406).
