ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend softball player Katie Gozzard (Pittsburgh, PA/Deer Lakes) has been named as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week.

Gozzard registered three multiple hit games this past week, finishing with eight hits, including two doubles and a home run in four games. She batted .571 from the plate and brought in five runs while also scoring four of her own. Gozzard roped two doubles and a home run, leading the Lions to a 3-1 record in AMCC action.
