PLANT CITY, Fl. – The Penn State Behrend softball team took on Illinois College and WPI on Tuesday in the Sunkissed Games.

Game 1
* The Lions played their first game on Tuesday against Illinois College, falling 7-6
* Behrend fell behind 3-0 to the Lady Blues in the first inning but got back into the game when they scored one in the third and four in the fourth inning
* Illinois scored two runs in the seventh inning to take the final lead of the game
* Carson Hauser (Westfield, NY/Westfield Academy) led the team with three hits on four at-bats including an RBI
* Alaina Wyckoff (Elma, NY/Iroquois Central) tallied two runs, two hits, and one RBI

Game 2
* The Lions took on WPI in the second game taking a win, 3-2
* Behrend shut out the Goats until the sixth inning
* AJ Nichols (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler) pitched all seven innings facing 25 batters giving up only three hits
* Nichols also led the team on offense with two runs and one hit
* Lauren Olevnik (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) had two RBI's for the Lions in two at-bats
