ERIE, Pa. - Penn State Behrend senior AJ Nichols (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler) was named the AMCC Softball Player of the Week for the week of March 4-10.

Nichols finished the week with a .379 batting average and eight RBI's. She had 11 hits including five doubles and one triple. Nichols had an obp of .438 for the week, as well as a .621 slugging percentage. Against Emerson, she had three hits in five at-bats including three RBI's with a .600 batting average. In addition to her work at the plate, Nichols picked up two wins in the circle for the Lions.
