ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend softball team swept Pitt-Greensburg on Thursday in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) doubleheader.

Game 1
* Behrend took on Pitt-Greensburg, winning 9-2
* The Lions scored two runs in each of the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings, along with three in the seventh
* AJ Nichols (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler) and Kristen Kargol (sSaegertown, PA/Cambridge Spring) each had two hits a piece against the Bobcats
* Carson Hauser (Westfield, NY/Westfield Academy) had three runs in game one
* Nichols pitched a complete game, striking out four
* Brittany Dunn pitched the whole game for Pitt-Greensburg, giving up seven hits

Game 2
* The Lions took down the Bobcats in game two, winning 10-6
* Behrend fell behind 3-1 in the first inning off a double and an error
* Pitt-Greensburg scored again in the second, before the Lions made a comeback
* The Lions scored four runs in the third off of hits by Alayna Derzak (Seven Fields, PA/Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic) and Kargol
* Behrend continued their run, scoring one more in the fourth inning off a Hauser triple
* The Lions scored three more in the fifth, including a Kargol homer
* Brittney Williams (Atlantic, PA/Conneaut Lake) pitched four innings and Nichols pitched three
