ERIE, Pa. – The No. 1 Penn State Behrend softball team is set to host No. 3 Mt. Aloysius on Saturday in a best two out of three series in the 2021 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship beginning at 12 p.m.

* The Lions are the No. 1 seed in the AMCC tournament and looking to capture their ninth conference championship
* Behrend last won the title in 2017
* Behrend took down No. 5 Penn State Altoona on Wednesday in the AMCC Semifinal round to advance to the championship series
* The Lions defeated Altoona, 8-0 in a five inning first game and 6-1 in game two
* Mackenzie McIntire (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) hit her 50th career double in game one. She is now holding the Behrend record at 51 career doubles
