CLERMONT, Fla. - The Penn State Behrend softball team dropped a 2-1 decision to Northwestern in game one and fell 3-0 to Wheaton (Ill.) in the nightcap over Spring Break in Clermont, Florida on Tuesday.

Noteworthy:
* Northwestern scored the eventual game-winning run in the bottom of the fourth inning
* Jayden Iverson hit a single home run to put the Eagles ahead for good
* Cami McNany (Emlenton, PA/Allegheny-Clarion Valley) tallied her second home run of the season for the lone run
* Behrend tallied three hits on the day, getting a double from Maria Jones (Wilcox, PA/Johnsonburg) and a single from Emi Curcio (Perryopolis, PA/Frazier)
* Briggs Carlson pitched for Northwestern, earning the win
* Carlson smacked a triple on her first at bat to lead off the first inning and scored the first run for the Eagles
* Kayla Lindberg (Austinburg, OH/Geneva) was the starting pitcher and suffered the loss for the Lions

* Schmidt fanned five batters and gave up three runs on six hits
