ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend softball team faces Penn State Altoona in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Game of the Week on Saturday, before honoring the seniors against Alfred State on Sunday.

* The Lions kept their AMCC record unblemished with a pair of wins at Pitt-Bradford on Tuesday
* Behrend did not allow a single run over the two games thanks to the defense and pitching of Abby Tingley (Union City, PA/Union City) and Kayla Lindberg (Austinburg, OH/Geneva)
* Tingley and Lindberg combined for 17 strikeouts and only four hits
* Tingley gave up one hit and fanned eight, while Lindberg struck out nine and allowed three hits
* Sierra Williams (Grove City, PA/Grove City) went 2-for-3 with four RBIs and a run scored in game two
* The Lions are tied for 14th in the NCAA Division III statistics in double plays per game (0.46) and tied for 22nd in triples per game (0.54)
* Jocelyn McNany (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) and Kayla Salvini (McDonald, PA/Fort Cherry) each have four triples on the season
* Meghan Petitte (Sugarcreek, OH/Garaway) was named the AMCC Player of the Week
* Petitte tallied 13 hits, 10 runs, eight RBI, two doubles, two triples and two home runs in a 5-1 week

* Behrend will honor the five seniors before the game on Sunday
* The seniors were instrumental in helping Behrend to a 90-50 overall record and an impressive 44-6 AMCC record, while capturing two AMCC Championships and advancing to the NCAA Tournament twice.

* The Altoona Lions are the reigning AMCC Champions
* The Lions swept Pitt-Greensburg on Tuesday to improve to 13-10 overall and 6-2 in conference play
* Altoona will face Pitt-Bradford on Friday before coming to Erie, Pa. and face the Lions
* Alyssa Fisher had three multi-hit performances and finished 9-for-15 (.600) at the plate with five doubles, five runs scored, and one RBI last week
* Josselyn Nau went 1-1 last week in a pair of AMCC starts in the circle
* Nau went six innings and allowing just two earned runs while striking out two vs. Carlow and then recorded a complete game win at La Roche, tossing five shutout innings and striking out one
