Behrend Softball Falls 1-0 to No. 24 Dominican in NCAA Regionals
The Penn State Behrend softball team saw their season come to an end with a 1-0 loss to No. 24 Dominican in the 2024 Division III NCAA Softball Regional.
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kayl Faber-Cournane threw a three-hit shutout to lead No. 24 Dominican past Penn State Behrend 1-0 in the elimination game of the 2024 NCAA Division III Softball Regional hosted by Case Western on Friday.

* Dominican plated a run on two hits in the opening frame
* Kennedy Marvin singled and scored off an RBI single by Ryley Davis for the only run of the game

* Abby Tingley (Union City, PA/Union City) started her second game in a row, allowing five hits and one run in the first four innings
* Lindberg finished out the game in the circle for the Lions
* It marked the second straight game Behrend faced a nationally-ranked opponent
* The Lions season concludes with a 33-10 overall record
