McNany Named AMCC Player of the Week

Penn State Behrend softball senior infielder Jocelyn McNany (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) was selected the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week for the period running from March 10-16.

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend softball senior infielder Jocelyn McNany (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) was selected the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week for the period running from March 10-16.

McNany hit .522 over eight games, recording seven extra-base hits out of 12 total during the team's Florida trip. She also smacked a pair of home runs, four doubles and one triple, while scoring eight runs and driving in eight runs.

McNany tallied three doubles in the win over Kean and two home runs vs. Saint Joseph's.

The softball team will play their home-opener this Wednesday vs. Mount Union. Game times are scheduled for 3 and 5 p.m.
