1. WHAT ARE YOUR GENERAL THOUGHTS ON BEING 3-3, AND WHERE YOUR TEAM STANDS RIGHT NOW? Our team is playing inconsistently so far this season. We have had a few slow starts to games and have been able to improve our performances in the second half and play better.
1. WHAT ARE YOUR GENERAL THOUGHTS ON BEING 3-3, AND
WHERE YOUR TEAM STANDS RIGHT NOW?
Our team is playing inconsistently so far this season. We have had
a few slow starts to games and have been able to improve our
performances in the second half and play better. Unfortunately, we
were unable to over come deficits we put ourselves in at half time
against some opponents and therefore have more loses than perhaps
our talent should have allowed. I look forward to more consistency
and perhaps our team playing with the confidence and at the level
needed from the tip which will allow for us to reach our potential.
2. WHO IS PERFORMING WELL FOR THE TEAM?
Amy Oldach is playing some of her best basketball right now. She is a great floor leader. Both Kimmy Pol and Kelly Nowacinski are contributing terrific speed both offensively and defensively and are two of our biggest weapons on the floor.
3. HAS ANYBODY REALLY SURPRISED YOU?
Rookie Taylor Lotis. She is playing very well, plays loose, scoring
for us, and has a level head for a young player. I really like what
she is adding to our team right now.
4. WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE HEADING INTO THE SECOND
HALF OF THE SEASON AFTER THE SEMESTER ENDS?
For our team to have better starts to games. Also getting
all our players to play well together and play within themselves
yet to their individual capability, and to stay focused during the
break.
5. WHAT IS YOUR EXPECTATION FOR THE END OF THE SEASON AND
POSTSEASON?
I like our chances in our league. We need to find ways to beat
teams without beating ourselves. We have the ability and skill we
just need to put it all together.
