Oldach, Bourquin Earn All-AMCC Honors

ERIE, Pa. – Senior guard Amy Oldach repeats as Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Defensive Player of the Year and earned a spot on the All-AMCC first team, announced on Tuesday.  Sophomore forward Holly Bourquin was also recognized as an honorable mention.

Oldach, who was named AMCC Preseason Player of the Year, is earning her second straight all-conference nod after collecting a spot on the second team a year ago. She ranks first in the conference and ninth in NCAA Division III statistics in steals per game (4.0), while ranking third in the AMCC in scoring with 16.5 ppg. Oldach became the first-ever point guard in program history to reach 1,000 points and broke the school record for steals in a career (300). She is in need of one more steal to set the record for most in a season. Oldach currently has 1,088 points, 347 assists and 300 steals for her career.

Bourquin is making her first appearance on the All-AMCC team. She leads Behrend in rebounding (7.7 rpg), field-goal percentage (.494) and blocked shots (24). Bourquin averages 12.3 points per game and has posted five double-doubles this season.

The Lions received a bid to the ECAC South Region Tournament for the eighth time in program history and host Marywood on Wednesday night in first-round action, beginning at 7 p.m.
