Marriott Receives Prestigious MBA Award

ERIE, Pa. – Julie Marriott, the assistant coach for the women's basketball team at Penn State Behrend, received the Masters of Business Administration Award at the College's Annual Honors & Awards Convocation on Sunday.

Marriott, who will graduate in May with her master's degree, earned the honor for having the highest grade-point average and demonstrating leadership qualities the past two years in the MBA program.

Marriott has been instrumental in the success of the Lions' program, mentoring three All-AMCC players a two-time Defensive Player of the Year and a Newcomer of the Year. She helped Behrend post a 20-8 overall record and 14-4 mark in the conference this season.
