Reinwald Named AMCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Penn State Behrend women’s basketball sophomore Dani Reinwald was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week, announced on Monday.
ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women's basketball sophomore Dani Reinwald (Clymer, NY/Clymer) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week, announced on Monday.
The forward is earning her first AMCC weekly honor this season. Reinwald averaged a double-double with 20.0 points and 10.5 rebounds in a pair of games over the holiday break for the Lions. She also shot 70 percent from the field and 85.7 percent from the free-throw line.
Reinwald scored more than half of Behrend's points against Whitman, dropping a season-high 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for her ninth double-double.
Behrend returns to action tomorrow against Carnegie Mellon at 6 p.m. in the Junker Center.
