Goetz scored the next five points and Nicole Boyer (Blairsville, PA/Blairsville) connected on a layup, before Kinecki hit her second jump shot of the quarter for the 15-point lead.

A pair of Stead's free throws finally got the Barons on the board with 2:42 left in the period. The Lions were able to take a 20-8 advantage into the second quarter and keep their double-digit lead for the next 10 minutes to make it 36-20 at halftime.

The Lions had a quick 6-0 spurt to begin the third quarter for a 22-point lead with 7:38 remaining in the period. Behrend had its best offensive output in this quarter, scoring 24 points and holding Franciscan to 16.
