Women's Basketball Falls to Carnegie Mellon in ECAC Championship Game

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The fourth-seeded Carnegie Mellon won the 2022 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women's Basketball Championship, posting a 80-60 win over second-seeded Penn State Behrend on Saturday afternoon.

* The Tartans won their third ECAC title and first since 2017
* Carnegie Mellon shot 55.6 percent from the floor to halt the Lions from claiming their third ECAC Championship
