ERIE, Pa. – Freshman guard Madilyn Boyer (Saxonburg, PA/Knoch) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week.

Madilyn Boyer shot 50 percent from the floor, scoring a season-best 22 points, and grabbing nine rebounds in the win over Fredonia. She went 8-for-16, including six-for-10 from behind the arc.

The Lions are back in action on Wednesday at Wooster. Game time is 5 p.m.
