Behrend Lions Complete Season Sweep Over Mt. Aloysius

CRESSON, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's basketball team complete the season sweep over Mt. Aloysius, winning 81-49 on the road in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday.

* The Lions forced 38 turnovers to generate a season-high 25 steals to defeat the Mounties
* Behrend also held a 55-38 advantage on the boards
* The Lions took a commanding 21-5 lead after the first quarter
* After a 16-point lead in the first quarter, Behrend outscored the Mounties by 16 points in the third to solidify the win
* The Lions held Mt. Aloysius scoreless for the first three minutes of the third quarter, darting out to a 39-15 lead
* Rachel Majewski (Erie, PA/Villa Maria Academy) had a game-high 21 points and Morgan Altavilla (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) recorded 16 points and eight rebounds
