ERIE, Pa. – The La Roche women's basketball team edged Penn State Behrend 82-72 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Game of the Week on Saturday afternoon.

Records: Penn State Behrend (16-5, 8-2 AMCC), La Roche (14-7, 10-0 AMCC)

* La Roche improves its win streak to 10 straight games and is in the drivers seat for the upcoming  AMCC playoffs
* The Redhawks are the only team to hand Behrend a loss in the New Year
* La Roche broke open a one-point lead at halftime with a 6-0 run to start the third quarter
* The Redhawks held the Lions scoreless for the first three minutes of the third quarter to take a 41-34 lead
