Women's Basketball Powers Past Alfred State

ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's basketball team defeated Alfred State 83-59 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Wednesday night in the Junker Center.

* The Lions started out shooting 56.3 percent from the floor in the first quarter for a 27-21 lead
* Behrend began the second quarter on a 15-0 run, outscoring Alfred State 25-6 in the quarter
