Altavilla Hits 1,000 Points; Chatham Clamps Down on Women's Basketball

ERIE, Pa. – The Chatham women's basketball team defeated Penn State Behrend 80-52 in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon in the Junker Center.

* The Cougars drained 13 three-pointers in the game, including five in the fourth quarter to hand the Lions their second loss of the season
* Ashley Louden led the game with 25 points and shot 6-for-9 from behind the arc
* Chatham never trailed and carried a three-point lead into the next quarter
* The Cougars posted a 29-9 scoring advantage in the second quarter to make the difference
* Chatham also shot 49.2 percent from the floor and 90 percent from the charity stripe
