Behrend Women's Basketball Topples La Roche On The Road
Senior guard Rachel Majewski registered a season-high 26 points to lead the Penn State Behrend women’s basketball team past La Roche 74-60 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Game of the Week on Wednesday night.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Senior guard Rachel Majewski (Erie, PA/Villa Maria Academy) registered a season-high 26 points to lead the Penn State Behrend women's basketball team past La Roche 74-60 in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Game of the Week on Wednesday night.

* In a rematch of the AMCC Championship game a year ago, the Lions and Redhawks were deadlocked at 29-all at halftime
* Behrend broke loose in the third quarter, outscoring La Roche 25-14 and taking a double-digit lead with 2:18 left to play on a Majewski triple to make it 50-38
* Another Majewski triple got the Lions a 14-point lead early in the fourth quarter
