Women's Basketball Completes Season Sweep at Carlow

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's basketball team completed the season sweep against Carlow, earning a 92-40 win in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Tuesday night.

* The Lions have defeated the Celtics twice in eight days to remain in first place in the AMCC with an unblemished 10-0 mark
* After a close first quarter with three points separating the teams, Behrend exploded for 31 points in the second
* Morgan Altavilla (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) tallied 10 points in the second quarter, while Rachel Majewski (Erie, PA/Villa Maria Academy) added seven
* The Lions defense did their part in the second quarter and limited Carlow to one-field goal for a 46-14 halftime score
